That string is loaded from the /administrator/language/en_GB/en_GB.plg_socialprofiles_jomsocial.ini file. If you're using a different language, the English file should still be loaded. If not though, please copy the en_GB version to your language directory and edit it there for whatever string you want to show.

I'm not sure why that file isn't there.

To fix, you can either try to create it and just add the following line:Or, try to reinstall JFBConnect or the JomSocial profile plugin (from the /admin/install/packages/socialprofiles directory in the zip file).

The language file you highlighted is plg_user_jomsocialuser.ini, which is not the file needed for our socialprofiles plugin. You need to create en_GB.plg_socialprofiles_jomsocial.ini

As for the install file not updating, you had the same issue in this post . At the end of that thread, I asked a few questions about your configuration since we can't recreate the problem and haven't heard of it from others. Can you respond to that, or answer the questions here, and we'll gladly investigate.

I'm not sure what would be wrong then. Can you go to the Joomla configuration area and enable "Debug System" setting. At the bottom of the page, it should show the language files that have been loaded on the page. Check if the socialprofiles_jomsocial.ini file was properly loaded.

Beyond that, try reverting the text string back to the default of:Also, if you've updated that string and FTP'd it to the site, ensure that it was transferred as ASCII and not binary.
