The JomSocial home page seems to be loading now, so it seems like you fixed that. I'm not sure what you did when you unpacked the com_jfbconnect file. You should use the Joomla installer to update our extension. Simply overwriting the files is not the proper way to update any extension as you may miss some database updates that only take effect when using the Joomla installer.
As for the administrator area, what happens when you try to login? JFBConnect doesn't alter or interfere with the administrator login functionality at all. If you can't login with Joomla credentials, my best guess is that you've disabled the Joomla User or Joomla Authentication plugins. If so, you'd need to modify your database to manually re-enable those.
Hope that helps get you started or gives you some ideas as to what may be wrong. I don't think the authentication in the admin area is related to JFBConnect at all, but if you feel there's something we're interfering with, just let us know what makes you think that and we'll help how we can.
