logged in using FBlogin... now im literally in a loop/refresh lasing 1-2 sec. the page clears, then has the welcome page (login/User registration).
and its switching between the two ..

thoughts? help?

Steve,
I just registered on the site using JFBConnect and didn't have any issues logging in and out multiple times. Can you try clearing your browser cache or trying another browser altogether? It may just be some cookie that got corrupted during installation or during your first registration. Definitely not common, but not sure what else to suggest.

I'm having same issue. Logging in via JFBConnect with existing user account works fine, but when trying to register a new account using JFBConnect, the page goes into a continuous loop, clearing the registration page every few seconds.

When you close the browser and return to the site, it's still in the loop. The only way to break the loop is clearing browser cache.

This loop only seems to occur when using "Normal Registration". "Automatic Registration" seamlessly logs user in and avoids the continuous loop.

Clean install with following config:
Joomla 2.5.6
JFBConnect 4.2.3

Tested in FF (13.0.1) and IE 9

Try diabling the "Automatically Log Facebook Users In" option and see if that improves the situation. It shouldn't be necessary, but may be a good workaround for now.

Please let me know if that helps and we can investigate more if so. We have another similar (but different) issue with that setting we're already looking into. It affects a very minor amount of users, but any is too many.

Awesome. Glad that worked, though I'm sorry you have to disable that setting. Like I mentioned, we are looking into possible causes and fixes, but until then, leaving that disabled is our best answer.

Anyways, we'd love the JED review! Best of luck and keep us posted if you run into anything else and we'll let you know when we have something to try or a new version with a fix.

Thanks for the help on this... seems like it is a caching issue. however it (problem) sometimes returns and i have to occasionally delete cache
