[SOLVED]Wrong domainname presented on facebook userlog

[SOLVED]Wrong domainname presented on facebook userlog

When users comment or press the like button, the information that is presented in the facebook log isnt entirely correct. The link to the article is correct but the links to the page is wrong. if you look at the screenshot  when you press the link "Cykelutflykt"  the link directs you here: http://www.enmi.net/farjestaden/index.p … heter/42-4
But the link below "Cykelutflykt" and after "Has commented" is pointing to the main domain at www.enmi.net.
the application settings is:
Site URL: http://farjestaden.enmi.net/
Site Domain: farjestaden.enmi.net

Any pointers on howto correct this?http://www.sourcecoast.com/components/com_agora/img/members/4042/screenshot.png

Re: [SOLVED]Wrong domainname presented on facebook userlog

That's how the posts in Facebook work as of a few weeks ago. They've started posting links to the page itself, and the main domain. They're doing this, presumably, to give some 'trust' to the link because the top link to the article is simply the title of the article.. which doesn't tell you where you are going after it's clicked. The link below it is for the domain itself, like CNN.com, which would let the Facebook user's friend know that it's a good link.

There's no control we have over these links. Facebook takes the Like button click and determines how to present that page in the user's Wall. You can use the Open Graph tags, supported by JFBConnect, to describe the image, title, and description of your page better, but you can't change those links.

Hope that helps explain, but if you have other questions, just let us know!
