[SOLVED] JFBInvite menu item does not work

[SOLVED] JFBInvite menu item does not work was created by pvh

I want to get to the Invite module using a menu item. I can see JFBC in the list of menu types but when I click on JFBC nothing happens.
I can see at the bottom of the browser that there is some activity, but further than that nothing happens.
My question is, is there something wrong or is this "as designed" ?

You can't create a Joomla! menu item using a module. Typically, what you have to do, is create an article and create a menu item to that article. Once you have the menu item, you can create an instance of the Invite module and set it to only display for that menu item.
