Nitish,
There's a few ways to do what you're looking for:
* In the JFBConnect configuration area, enable the "Automatically link users by email" setting. That will automatically connect users that login through Facebook to a Joomla user with the same email address.
* In the JFBConnect Configuration area, use the "Normal" registration mode. That mode allows a new user to register a new account *or* login to an existing one.
* In the SCLogin module, enable the "Allow Reconnections" option. That will show a "Connect this account?" and Facebook login button to users that are logged in that haven't connected their account to Facebook.

I hope that helps,
Alex

What popup are you talking about? JFBConnect doesn't use any popups to alert you that an email has already been taken. Are you seeing that when you click the Login with Facebook button, or doing something else?

As for the SCLogin module, the setting is actually called "Show Connect Account Button(s)". When enabled, if the user didn't login using Facebook, there should be a link to Facebook in the SCLogin module's logout area.

Let me know how you're testing a little bit more, and we'll gladly help. Mainly, it sounds like you have an existing Joomla account on your site with email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. When you login with Facebook using the same email address, the accounts should be automatically connected with the "Automatically Link Facebook Users by Email" setting.

If that still isn't working, let me know as something seems strange. Those settings have been well tested and should work. However, something else on your site may be conflicting.

Thanks,
Alex

Go to the Global Configuration area of Joomla and change the following settings:
* Error Reporting: Maximum
* Gzip Compression: Off
* Debug Mode: On

Then, recreate the problem. There will hopefully be a PHP error message that will help us understand and diagnose the problem. Let us know what it is and reset the settings above to what they were before.

I hope that helps,
Alex

That's definitely strange. Do you get the same error message with logging in through normal Joomla, or is it just with JFBConnect/ Facebook login?

The only other suggestion I'd have to try and narrow things down is to temporarily disable any socialprofile plugins you have enabled in your Plugin manager. If it works with those disabled, it will help narrow things down some more.

Let me know if the above helps.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

T

he log in problem occurs with every log in module including facebook log in button. when u get error the website will not load unless and until u clear cookies and cache, sometimes when u try repeatedly login with clearing cookies and cache i get a chance to log in. it occurs whether u try with username and password or with facebook login. The website does not even show forgot password page if u enter a wrong password it shows the above mentioned error..I was checking global configuaration and found that under database tab its still showing old data base name and username i recently shifted the server, earlier website name was blastindia.com now i just copied the files to f4friends.com and changed the name and then copied the database tables using php myadmin sql injection method. current domains i.e f4friends.com's database username and password is different,but in global configuaration the old databse username and password is still used
