Topic-icon Subscription just ended and I can't access the setup docs

Hey Sourcecoasters,
Unfortunately I was away when I received the email that my Sourcecoast subscription was about to run out. :-/ Consequently, I can't access the setup docs now to install the plugin and sadly I didn't get to download the latest version (4.2 instead of 4.0) before my subscription ran out.

Would it be possible to briefly gain access to these again? I purchased the plugin quite some time ago but am just now able to get around to installing it.

Thanks a lot for the great plugin guys (and the kind support with my previous forum questions)

Cheers
J

J,
I just extended your subscription until the 8th of June (next Friday). Please download what you need and check out the documentation as necessary.

Also, just in case you missed our newsletter email as well, on Monday June 4th, we'll be increasing the pricing of JFBConnect to $60 for 6 months or $99 for 12 months. If you're interested in renewing, you may want to do it before then. As always, we offer 10% off of either the new or old pricing while your subscription is active through next week. After your (newly extended) subscription expires, you'll have to pay the full rate.

Best of luck,
Alex

J,
Glad to hear you got things going. We also recently changed our documentation policy. Subscribers have access to all docs for their subscription period + 3 months. While you won't have access to new releases, usually the documentation is still relevant for about that period. Since we have new releases about every 3-4 months, the docs do go stale.

We think that policy is fair, while also (somewhat) incentivizing users to subscribe again without beating them over the head.. but if you have any comments, suggestion or feedback, we'd love to hear it!

Thanks,
Alex

I understand, I think it definitely makes sense.

The beginning section of each page in the documentation can be a bit confusing because it says that you need a subscription to see the rest but in fact 'the rest' is visible heh ;-) But its pretty solid documentation to cover a fairly complex range of scenarios

And just a random tidbit - regarding the demo page linked to for Autoregistration vs Normal registration ( demo.sourcecoast.com/ ) looks like it has a screenshot of JFBCLogin still instead of SCLogin. Probably still helpful though for people using JFBCLogin I suppose. Just a heads up ;-)

Thanks for the tip on the JFBCLogin image. Will fix that.. soon.

As for the docs, you shouldn't see the "You need a sub" text and the docs.. that sounds like a bug. We're not seeing it in our testing, but will figure it out. Can you link to a specific page that's showing it, just so we're testing on the same grounds?

Thanks,
Alex
