Hi, I can not get the secondary template to change. I've changed it in the details template setting and I have followed your instructions to integrate Facebook. For the main template I'm using one by rockettheme and the face book template was built with artisteer.

I'm assuming that the main template for your site is what's showing? Some obvious things to check:
1) You have the correct template selected in the Page Tab/Canvas Integration tabs in JFBConnect
2) The JFBConnect System plugin is enabled.

If those are correct, it's possible it's an issue with the RocketTheme template, which can try to take things over a bit. Can you try setting your main site's template to a non-Rockettheme one, temporarily, and see if the FB one properly loads in your Page or Canvas? That will help determine the problem.

Another thing to try is simply to go to your home page, or whatever other page you have set to show within Facebook, and add the following to the URL: ?template=fb_template (or whatever your template is actually called), so the url would look like:
site.com/?template=fb_template

Let us know how that goes!

pfunk,
Not sure off hand from your screenshots. There are a few things that seem odd from your configuration though:
1) In the Page Tab URL, you don't need the template=fbtemplate. JFBConnect takes care of that aspect, so I'd remove that. I can't imagine that's the problem, but may somehow help.
2) The secure page tab URL is completely different than your site's URL. How is that working and what is that setup? My guess is that this may be part of the problem. Can you try visiting your Facebook page in non-https mode, and see if that works? Many times, you'll need to be logged out of Facebook to do this.. if you're logged in, FB may try to use the SSL page regardless.

Finally, if that doesn't work, try removing the article ID for the reveal page and test without that. It's just one more complication.

Hope something above helps get us closer.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

1. I tried the URL with and without the: template=fbtemplate
2. The secure page tab URL shouldn't make a difference. I have several fan pages running this. It's a free ssl for facebook. www.facebook.com/SocialServer.
3. removing the article ID did not work.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Glad to hear it. That ?template setting shouldn't be necessary, but depending on how that SSL proxy emulates Facebook, we may simply not be detecting things properly when in a canvas view.

Either way, it's working :) Should you need anything else, just let us know!
