Do other modules you try to put on that page show? I've never heard of JomSocial actively disabling modules, so that shouldn't be the case. Mainly, I'd check that the module position from your template actually exists on that page. You can do so by adding ?tp=1 to the URL, which will show all available template positions on a page.
The other suggestion would be to add our Login With Facebook button to their home page, which is a common question. You can learn how to do that on the following page:

mod_jfbclogin doesn't show on Jomsocial homepage
It does show on other pages, so I suggest it's something under Jomsocial what is disabeling the other Login module!
