Corsulian:
We just put up a new JFBConnect (2.1.2) which will fix this problem going forward. The idea has always been that you should be able to uninstall the component without having to uninstall the plugins and modules first. We missed a case where you uninstall them, log out, then log back into try to re-install. Going forward (with this release), that won't be a problem anymore.
To get your site back up, here's what you should do:
- Get the new 2.1.2 zip file from CMS Market.
- Unzip it to your system locally
- Go to the "/admin/packages" directory and unzip the file "plg_authentication_jfbconnectauth_j1.5_v2.1.1.zip
- Upload the file file "jfbconnectauth.php" to your live site in the directory "/plugins/authentication".
That should overwrite the current plugin and bypass FB authentication if the Component is not installed, regardless of whether the plugin is enabled.
Message here if you run into any issues, or post when it's fixed. We'll be monitoring closely, and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
