Hi there,
I'm using your component on belgianpsytrance.be. The comments module is on the frond page and I added the code calling the plugin on the evenetlist template pages and the gallery pages.

When posting a comment it appears on the website page and on Facebook. When I go back to the website page the comment has dissapeard but I can still see the comment when following the link on Facebook. I suppose it must be possible to keep showing the comments while navigating the website and I'm hoping it's just a setting I missed.

Could you shine some light on this for me, please?
Also, comments never show up in the "Comment moderation tool" at Facebook developers.

Thanks!

Usually, that's a case of the URL that you're using. Facebook tracks comments by the URL that we submit with the comment. If you've left the URL parameter blank in JFBCComments, then we simply use the URL of the current page.

If you look at the page that doesn't show the comment versus the one that does (when following the link from Facebook), you'll likely see a difference in the URL in address bar. There are some parameters and values that we automatically remove from the URL that Facebook sends (fb_comment_id, etc), but other than things that are Facebook specific in the URL, see if there are other differences.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, just copy the URL of the page with Comments and the URL of the page that doesn't have comments here and we can let you know if we see something odd.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex,
It seems to work now.

I figured out that one way to go to an event page is using a different path then the path leading from the main menu to the event page. That's probably why I don't see the comments on that page, coming from the faulty path (a link in a module on the front page).

For the comments module on the front page I had the homepage url in the "URL to comment on" field. I just made that field empty and now it seems to work.

Aparently my issues are not caused by your component. I still don't see comments appearing in the "Comment moderation tool" but I've read it can take up to 24 hours.
