As shown in the above link, JFBConnect login fails to show the avatar of the user once hes logged in. The logout button also failed to work. (This formerly works on the site, but i have no idea why it stopped functioning properly)

JFBInvite module is placed on the article page which is shown, however no friends are listed under the JFBCInvite module.

Anyone care to help? (This JFBCInvite and JFBConnect used to work... but not anymore! )

Similar to my response in another post, it looks like this is working now..? Does it seem to be working for you? Just want to know before we investigate further.. especially since its now hard to debug something that looks to be functioning.

Hmm it isn't working still for me.

When i read your reply and went to login via facebook connect initially, I could see the friends on the FBCInvite box, but the page went to auto-refresh and the invite list went empty again... hmm


Same still, the avatar isn't loading for facebook connect and i can't logout.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I'm still not seeing it. Attached is what my page looks like.. unfortunately, Alex Sourcecoast has only 1 friend... he's lonely. But that one user is showing correctly. If this isn't what you're seeing, let me know. If this is what you're seeing, and I'm missing something, let me know.

I tested this both in IE7 and Firefox and was able to log out and log in multiple times.

Can you guys please check the following things:
Go to Facebook:
- Go to "Settings->Application Settings" in the top right
- Change the show filter to "Approved"
- Ensure your application is listed there.

If so, try deleting your usermapping from JFBConnect and reconnecting. Do this by:
- Go to the administration area of your Joomla site
- Go to Components->JFBConnect->User Map.
- Find your Joomla user, click the box, and click delete in the top right (this does NOT affect your joomla account)
- Log into the front end of your site with your Joomla account
- Click the FB Login button and log in there with your FB info to re-connect your Joomla/FB user accounts

Report if it still breaks.

Hey Alex,

Surprisingly, the invite module and connect module is working better now.

However when I select a couple of friends and invite, I received this error msg

Great to hear things are going better.

The invite module must have the "Post Invite Action Url" and "Invite Content Url" set.

- The Invite Content Url is where you want users to be sent when the 'accept' an invite sent by a friend (i.e. you're home page or a welcome to the site page).
- The post invite URL is where you want to send your users that are inviting other people to when they're done (i.e. an 'thanks for inviting your friends' article.

Sorry first off, i dont consider myself a professional so i know im going to be asking a basic question.

I am trying to get my jfbcinvite to display FULLY!

I have installed my jfbcinvite and it works fine.
The only issue is: What position should it be placed at so that it will show completely?
I dont have an invite position for the template i am using (like some other people on this forum.) so i am using user 1 because that seems to be the best positon?
SCENERIO:
I can place it in the jfbcinvite in the user 1 position and it will display BUT it will only display if I have a module also in the RIGHT position.
This causes jfbcinvite to NOT display fully only about 3/4.
Now SAME SCENERIO BUT:
if i DISABLE ANY modules from displaying in the RIGHT position then the jfbcinvite will NOT show in the user 1 position.

any suggestions so that i can get it to display fully

It depends on the template to determine where it can be placed. I couldn't find it on your site (and the beta.donicethings.com site seems to be down). Can you send a link and I'll see if I can figure out some code to help you out.
