Hello, We have Jomsocial and use Joomla as our CMS for news articles. We wish to simply allow users to post comments from within a Joomla article or K2 item. We understand JFB Connect primary role is social connect but it also shows sharing ability to FB and other social networks. So does JFB Connect, or another system you might know of (prhaps even JS functionality) easily allow us to integrate our CMS system to JomSocial (in addition to FB). FB is nice for reaching outside our network, however we also wish to allow our members to easily share content/ideas within our community. It would be best to allow comment/like posting from within the article and post to JS (as well as FB) and also show an activity stream of public comments (or filter to only friends) related to that article/item. Does JS have a module/plugin to bring the JS commenting/activity stream functionality within an article, or does JFB Connect offer such capability? Please let us know your thoughts as to what is the best option for us to pursue achieving this functionality. Thank you for your time and attention to our message, look forward to hearing from you! Best

JFBConnect's primary role isn't just social authentication, we offer almost 50 different widgets (Like buttons, comment modules, etc) for the various networks we support, social meta tag support for getting the best preview shown when your content is shared back to a social network and more.

With that said, we don't perform the integration with JomSocial that you're looking for. You can add a Facebook comment box to your articles, but comments there won't show up in the user's JomSocial stream. There are various technical reasons why we don't currently support that. As you probably guessed, our main focus is getting content to and from your site to the social networks.. not between different extensions on your site.

For more options within JomSocial, you'd need to contact their developers who may be able to point you in the right direction.

I hope that helps,
Alex
