Hi,

Currently I'm using a solution from Webkul in order to show our Facebook wall in a module in Joomla.
Is it possible to exchange this solution with JFBConnect?

It would also be okay if the solution is not a module but via a plugin in an article or K2 item.

Thanks,

Claus.

We have our JFBCSocialStream module which allows you to show your feeds from Facebook Pages & Groups, Twitter Streams and LinkedIn Company Pages all in one module view. You can see an example of the Social Stream at the bottom of this page.

There's currently only one theme available for the Social Stream module as it's a relatively new feature to JFBConnect. We're planning to add more in the future, but until then, it's possible to completely override the looks however you want. For more information on theming the module, see our guide:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/posting/social-streams

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hi Alex.

Thanks, it looks promissing. As I understand, you can then e.g. publish on Facebook directly from the homepage - right?
If yes, is it only entries posted from the frontpage which are viewed in the stream?

Thanks,

Claus.

Claus,
Once a Channel is setup, you can post any page/URL from your site along with a comment. You can do this from any component. It's up to you which content from your site you post back to any of the social networks. It's just like going to the social networks and creating a status update, but it's much simpler since you can do it all from your site and push the same update to multiple networks at the same time.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

Thanks, Alex.

Now that I have bought the product I will just try it later this week. However, my goal is actually not to have feeds posted easily to more than one channel it's more to show all feeds from the wall of our Facebook group on our site never mind who has posted and from where. We are only using Facebook at the moment.

Eventually have a look at one of our pages where it is currently up running. It's just that I am interested in limit the number of extensions used - so if this component can do the job I can skip the old one which is not able to give me the FB single sign-on.

Claus.

We'll always agree with fewer extensions on the site. Use only what you need.

In general, you should be able to display your Group posts on your site. It will look different than what you're currently using simply because our only base theme is different, but you should be able display the same information.

If you have any questions or issues though, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
