No problem. We have great support, and can help how you need. A lot of our features (including the ability to manually approve users) has come from requests from users in the past.
One final thing I did forget to mention, and to know before you subscribe.. Joomla 1.5 doesn't have any way to have admin approval of users after registration, only email confirmation. If you're using Joomla 1.5, you'll need to use either JomSocial or Community Builder (which JFBConnect integrates with) to add the ability to manually approve users. Joomla 2.5 has this ability built in, and JFBConnect can be configured to respect that setting.
