Hi,

I'm very interested in purchasing your product but have one major issue. Our site uses community builder (1.2.2) and we want users to be able to sign up and log in using Facebook. However, we have specific fields we need to include which are not featured in Facebook.

For example, if a user is under 16 we require their parent's email address so we can inform them that their child has signed up. We also have a tick box on our registration form that allows users to select the genres of music they like.

So if a new user reg's using Facebook Connect then how do we capture this additional information?

There's no way to do this out of the box. However, you can set CB's setting for new user redirection to be their profile, at which time they could edit those fields. If they're marked as required, they wouldn't be able to save. While they could still navigate away from this page, making it not perfect, it's the best 'quick' solution I could give. I think there's CB addons out there that can check if a profile is complete and redirect a user to it constantly until it is. I say think cause I know there exists extensions like this for JomSocial, and I thought I've seen them for CB, but don't know of them off-hand.
