Hello,

I have a few questions about JFBConnect :

Is it possible to link multiple social accounts on the same joomla account ?

When is the user data from social networks updated ?

Finally, is it possible to update all linked accounts data when a user sign in (for example, if the user uses both Facebook and Google accounts, when he signs in, update Facebook and Google data).

Thank you in advance

Yes, when logged in a user will be able to map any of the social networks to their account. We have this capability anywhere the social login buttons are present (for instance like in SCLogin or wherever you place a login Easy-tag) or on the view to see all of the mapped accounts and link/unlink them.

When is the user data from social networks updated ?

You can configure profile data to be imported when a new user is created with a social network login or when the user returns to the site on subsequent logins. You'll enable whatever social profile plugins you want for importing into the supported third party extensions, and then set this up in the JFBConnect > Profiles backend area.

Finally, is it possible to update all linked accounts data when a user sign in (for example, if the user uses both Facebook and Google accounts, when he signs in, update Facebook and Google data).

No, this is not something that we support. We only use the network that the user is actively logging into, as that's the one that we can assume the profile data is most up-to-date. When you try to import profile data from several different networks at once and the data may be mapped to the same fields, this creates the problem on trying to figure out which network data to use.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
