Thanks for your interest in a Wordpress version. We've investigated porting JFBConnect to Wordpress before. All of our code over the last year has been modularized so that if we ever make the decision to pursue Wordpress, it will be easier (though still a ton of work). Unfortunately though, I don't have any timeline on when, or if, that may happen. We really like the Joomla codebase and users. The Wordpress market is huge though, and something we certainly wouldn't mind a piece of.. it's just a matter of resources and planning.
In the long run, I think we will have a Wordpress version. I think it's very unlikely to happen in 2015 though and only a possibility to happen in 2016. It really would depend on market forces, how well received each new release of Joomla is, etc.
If you have any other feedback or suggestions, definitely let us know. It's always good to have another voice of support for a WP version.
