the share buttom displays the url only (without the page title and page description) in facebook wall once it's accepted

1. First I re-scraped your page on Facebook and this fixed some of the problems.
2. There are no explicit og:image or og:description tags on this page, so Facebook is guessing on some of the tag values to use. You will need to add the image and description tags via one of our appropriate Open Graph plugins or adding the SCOpenGraph easy-tags to your content. For more information, please see www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/open-graph/tags-for-joomla

The like buttom shows an error sometimes and it doesn't show the like in the user wall

1. Could you please provide the actual text of the error? I was able to successfully like the page you provided.
2. Please check the Facebook Activity log (Go to your Facebook profile and click View Activity Log). As long as it is showing up here, the like is being performed correctly. Facebook chooses which actions actually show up in your Timeline view to you or viewers of your profile, and that's all based on different social relevance factors to the viewer. JFBConnect has no control over the placement of the like notification.

This should get you further for getting the like/share to work, but please let me know if you still have problems after fixing your Open Graph tags and manually re-scraping your pages at our site socialdebug.com or the Facebook Open Graph Debugger developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

Thanks for your reply. the Open Graf plugins are now enabled, and while page title and some inicial text are shown in the page wall, it doesn't show the image. I would like to show not only the image and article title, but also the introtext since it shows some less important information like date, user and then the introtext. you could try again:
www.fuerzaimperial.net/index.php/eventos...-fuerza-imperial-3-0

It sounds as if you have not customized an object in the JFBConnect > Open Graph > Object for your articles. When you set one up, you will be able to configure both where you get the description from and which image to use, as you are requesting. If you have 1) already configured the object and 2) manually re-scraped your page on the Facebook Open Graph Debugger, but are still having problems, please let me know. Until both of these are done, the values may still not be as desired.

Until the tags are configured correctly, please use socialdebug.com or the FB Open Graph Debugger to make Facebook recognize your changes. Then when everything is setup correctly, you will need to wait for a few days to a week (or sometimes more) for Facebook to automatically recognize changes on all of your pages.

It's a bit difficult to understand all this for me but i'm trying. I've created the open graph items for articles and k2 OK, i've enabled the opengraph plugins OK, i access the facebook debug but it says this two warnings:

Inferred Property The 'og:description' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

Since enabling both plugins fixes these problems, the only thing i need is to wait for that refresh?

Going to www.fuerzaimperial.net/index.php/eventos...-fuerza-imperial-3-0 I now see an og:image tag and an og:description tag. So yes once Facebook can re-scrape it should be ok.

However, I just manually rescraped the page on FB debugger and got a TIMEOUT error, meaning that Facebook is having a hard time connecting to your page to scrape information. Generally this is caused by GZip Compression being enabled; could you verify that this is disabled in the Joomla Global Configuration area?

Thanks for your reply Mel. I can confirm no gzip is activated, but i have conservative cache set on.

I just ran the page through the Facebook Debugger and it was properly scanned. I'm not sure why Timeouts were being seen earlier.

In the Debugger, I am seeing the following error:

Object at URL 'www.fuerzaimperial.net/index.php/eventos...-fuerza-imperial-3-0' is invalid because the configured 'og:type' of 'fuerzaimperial:' is invalid.

That is a correct error because the following tag is set on your page:
<meta property="og:type" content="fuerzaimperial:"/>
JFBConnect wouldn't set that tag that way without something being mis-configured. Do you have any "Objects" configured in the JFBConnect -> Open Graph area? If so, please make sure that the "type" is set properly. Right now, it seems like the type value is blank, which is why there's no value after the colon in fuerzaimerial: line. Generally, the best default settings for an object are a type of "article" with the "Built In Facebook Object" box checked.

Unless you need the Object configured for some reason, you may want to disable the object altogether.

I hope that helps,
Alex

I've activated the joomla seo properties and it seems i have to start over again. When i share an article like this:
www.fuerzaimperial.net/fuerza-imperial/1...-fuerza-imperial-3-0
after it's published i got the image and website address only, with the article and introtext missing. i set up the opengraph object type to "article" .
With k2 articles i have article and introtext but the image is missing, an article for example:
www.fuerzaimperial.net/explora/preguntas...th-vader-a-descansar
Thanks for your in-depth support.

In both cases of your URLs above, this is because Facebook has not scraped those URLs yet. Updating the SEO properties will change your website links and, as mentioned in the previous posts, you will need to either manually scrape your pages or wait for Facebook to do it. This may take a week or more, depending on many factors that Facebook considers like how long your page has been around, the amount of traffic you receive, etc.

Here is the before screenshot indicating there is no scrape information:
File Attachment:

The preview looks correct for both of those URLs after fetching the new scrape information.
