JFBConnect v6.2, released last week, has full AUP integration for rewarding points for the following activities:
* Facebook Like
* Facebook Comment
* Sending a Facebook Request
* Twitter "Tweet"
* LinkedIn Share
* Google +1
* Authenticating with the social networks

Additionally, we have a new AUP profile plugin for importing the user's profile information and avatar directly into the AUP profile.

That's all included in the newest release and what we'd recommend upgrading to. The previous AUP integration was only for Facebook Like's and Comments, and the new system rewards points a little differently than we did it in the past, which means you shouldn't implement the old method if you plan to upgrade.

If you need the old rules, the definitions on your 2.5 site will work on your 3.x site. You'd just need to copy them from the rules folder of AUP and they should work without issue in 3.x. Again though, you'd need to reconfigure them when you decide to upgrade to 6.2.

Thanks,
Alex

wow, That's Great. But One little thing. Is it Possible to Make Users to Share the Article on Facebook Instead of Like. I mean can i use JFB Facebook share button and reward users for sharing the article with their facebook friends.

Unfortunately, you can't. Facebook doesn't have an event that is triggered when the user Shares a page, only when the Like it. You can read their documentation below for both:
developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/share-button/

And for the Like button:
developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button
Specifically, in that one, there is a question "How do I know when someone clicked on a Like button on my site?". There's no similar feature for the Share button.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

ok, Sorry if i am troubling you. I need to know one thing.

When i like an article on my website it does appear on my activity log as " Sandeep likes an article on jobs4mind.com".
But does it show up in my friends wall to? If yes that's fine. If not can we create any open graph action that does this job. I want my content to go viral.

Thank You.

Facebook decides how Like's are shown to a user's friends based on relevance.

It's also possible to create an Open Graph Action for the og.likes action and use a custom Like button. With that, you can let the user add a comment, tag friends or even add a location if you wanted.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex
