In previous versions i used on my site Modal popup for the SCLogin module, when accessed via mobile device. I load a different version for mobile devices of the module.

It had worked previously.

Any ideas why it no longer works?

j.3.3.3 php 5.4.11, apache

For the moment i have set the module to always visible, which appears to work but takes up too much space.

Aaron,
Can you configure the SCLogin module in the non-working state on some sub-page of your site? We'll gladly take a look and see what's going on by testing on that page.

Just to confirm, you're saying that the modal popup works on the desktop, but not when you load the page in a mobile device? Can you tell me what phone and browser you're using to test with as well?

Thanks,
Alex

Modal Popup doesnt work at all.

I am using a rokbox instead and popping the always visible version. However i cant do this on mobile due to rt limitations. In the past i just had the sclogin use modal popups.

However recently those no longer work so for mobile i'm using a horizontal layout till i can fix it.

Applies to any page.

Even if i dont use mobile, Safari on Iphone 5 sometimes wont let me log off. the logoff popup doesn't appear either.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to this. Facebook made a big change to their API which required releasing a new version of JFBConnect earlier this week. That's slowed us down a bit more than we expected.

As to your issue, I see that you're using RokBox to load the SCLogin module right now. Can you implement the modal popup version of the SCLogin module on some page of your site so that we can test with it there? It can be some less-frequently visited page, but we'll need to see the problem somewhere so we can investigate further.

Another thing to test is the setting of the "Include jQuery / Bootstrap" setting in JFBConnect. Looking at your page, that should be enabled, because you don't have the Bootstrap Javascript libraries already loading on your page. Enabling that setting will insert them into the page as they are necessary for a few features of JFBConnect, including the modal popup for the SCLogin module.

I hope that helps,
Alex

i'll work on getting that up on a test menu item so you can access it, but not have it show on the live site.

Also, there appears to be an incompatibility or bug in sclogin just released. Caching causes invalid tokens if a user logs out and attempt to log back in. the only solution is to backend clear the module cache. I have disabled caching for this module as a temporary fix. this appears to affect Local accounts. I have not tested if it affects facebook or google accounts as i needed to stop it fast.

Any chance we can check the caching issue too?

i've enabled this on the development version of the site (which was actually synced last night).

occasionally it will work, but then yuo can cancel it after popup instead of logging in and go to any other page and are back to the same issue.

module is currently running in no cache option

Aaron,
The caching issue is a known problem that affects some sites. We're still unsure what's causing it. The solution is to disable the caching of the SCLogin module in the Advanced section, which it sounds like you've already done.

As for the popup problem, on your dev site, the Bootstrap Javascript library is not being included on the page at all. Can you enable the "Include jQuery / Bootstrap" setting in JFBConnect? There's a similar setting in the SCLogin module. Since you have JFBConnect, you should use the setting in there though.

If that still doesn't work, leave it enabled and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex
