While I was checking out on my Hikashop online shop, I was using JFBConnect Facebook registration to create an account for me. JFBConnect does create an user account for me. Then the system asked me the address information, but when I click ok to confirm my address info, it prompted our 403 Error: 403 Access Forbidden. Did I miss some configuration? Or JFBConnect is not working with hikashop?

Really hope you can help to solve this issue, JFBConnect is a very useful component!

We don't have specific integration with Hikashop currently (though it's in the planning stages). However, JFBConnect creates 100% standard Joomla users that any other extension should work with any other extension. When we add specific integration for an extension, it just lets you select how a user's profile (user data and avatar) is imported into that extension.

With that said, can you describe what you're doing a little bit more? You say:

Then the system asked me the address information, but when I click ok to confirm my address info, it prompted our 403 Error: 403 Access Forbidden.

What address info is shown? What extension are you looking at when the information is shown? From your picture, I see the "Successfully connected" status message in the background, but I'm not sure where that popup came from. Is that where you were entering the address? F

Any info on how you've got things configured now would really help. Are you using the Automatic registration mode of JFBConnect, or not? Also, if you can post (or Private Message) a link to a page where we can try going through the registration process, that may help.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks! Please go to here
www.petitemonde.com.hk

Then add some products to the cart, and then checkout the cart
Press Next, then you will see three buttons, "login", "registration" & "guest"
Please choose registration, then you will see the Facebook Connect button

Then you may try and test.

Wait for your good news!

Adam Chui

Adam,
When I go to the Checkout page, an SSL certificate warning prompt comes up. If you don't have a valid SSL certificate, but are trying to use that on your site, you may run into multiple issues with JFBConnect or other extensions.

As for the issue you mention, when I go to the Registration page and click the "Facebook" button, the popup shows the following:

App Not Setup: The developers of this app have not set up this app properly for Facebook Login.

You'll need to edit your Facebook Application settings and make sure it's "Online" and/or "Sandbox Mode" is "Disabled". There are different setting names depending on what you're Facebook Application area looks like.

I hope that helps get you started, but if you need more assistance, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

It is weired, before it works as the screenshot~~~( I can go through your Error Check in Autotune )

Anyways, I follow your instructions to enable the apps, it is still not working. If you don't mind, I may send you my admin info so you can have a look.

* I have disabled the SSL at the moment to isolate the problem

Thanks for fixing the enabled setting. I'm still seeing the SSL certificate warning, but that's not the problem.. I just wanted you to know that the cert isn't fixed or removed.

When I click the Facebook login button now, the following Javascript message appears:
Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'modal' jfbconnect.js?v=520:85
That means that you aren't including the Bootstrap Javascript library, which JFBConnect requires. Please enable the "Include JQuery/Bootstrap" setting in the JFBConnect -> Config area, and that should allow proper login. Otherwise, disable the "Show 'logging in' popup" setting in the Configuration -> Facebook area of JFBConnect.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Sorry for the delay. I just went through the process as you describe. I see the address confirmation window and the 403 error when I hit save. However, I'm not sure how JFBConnect is related to that. The window is presented by Hikashop and submitted to Hikashop. JFBConnect should not be interfering with the address verification portion at all.

After I registered with JFBConnect, I tried logging out and just logging in with my standard Joomla account that was created. I saw the same 403 error when I did that. So, it doesn't seem to be the Facebook login that's causing the issue, but something within Hikashop. Have you contacted them to determine if they know the cause of the problem? Otherwise, why do you think this is a JFBConnect-specific issue?

Thanks,
Alex

Alex, you are right, I can fix it after altering a config in the hikashop, it now works as expected
