The JFBCContent plugin is what inserts the social buttons into an article. You can disable that to remove all social buttons that JFBConnect adds automatically.
Alternatively, you can configure exactly how the social features are automatically added by going to the JFBConnect -> Social configuration area. In there, you can set which social features are automatically added and to what content.
