Hello,

I would need some help with the following error message when I clicked on "User Map" Any idea ?
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''%google' at line 3 SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) count FROM `ang_jfbconnect_user_map` um WHERE um.provider LIKE '%google

Best

Aron,
Sorry for the issue you ran into. That error is caused by a bug in the latest release that we'll be fixing soon. Right now, the filtering in the Usermap area isn't working properly and causes that error. If you log out of Joomla and log back in, then go directly to the JFBConnect -> Usermap area, it should work.

If you click the social network icons or using the Filter options to select a specific social network, that error will occur. If you'd like to implement a small code change, you can see what to do in this post . Otherwise, we'll be putting out a patch release over the next week to fix this and a few other minor issues.

Sorry again for the trouble, and keep us posted if you run into anything else or have any other questions.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi alex i´m having the same issue..when you get the patch ready please let us know..

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'INT) suffix FROM joom_users WHERE `username` ~ '^ipatam[0-9]+$' ORDER BY `suffix' at line 1 SQL=SELECT CAST(REPLACE(username, 'ipatam', '') AS INT) suffix FROM joom_users WHERE `username` ~ '^ipatam[0-9]+$' ORDER BY `suffix` DESC LIMIT 1

Inmortal,
The query you posted above is *not* from JFBConnect, or at least not from our original version. If that code is coming from JFBConnect for you, my guess is that you did not download the version of JFBConnect from our site and installed a version that's been modified by someone else. We can't support that version, and I'd highly recommend running a security check on your site. There have been numerous reports lately about 'free' copies of JFBConnect distributed that have malware on them to automatically send user credentials to a malicious server and/or install trojans on visitors to your site.

I hope that helps, and best of luck narrowing things down.

Alex

Vega,
Glad you're using the original files. The reason I mentioned that is because you're not posting from an account with an active subscription. Either way, the code you mentioned above is not from JFBConnect. I'm not sure where it's coming from, so it won't be something that an update from us will likely be able to fix.

If you need help narrowing down the cause of that SQL error, just let us know. If so though, please post from the account you subscribed to JFBConnect from.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

The problem still persists even if I log out and again into joomla and follow your instruction. I haven't dealt with the patch, didn't have the time, but I'm really looking forward to the fix in a new release.
Kind regards
Aron
