Can I somehow using FB to authenticate login to the backend of the site?

The best think would if it's possible to install the SCLogin module as an administrator module, or reuse the existing administrator/login module by just adding {JFBCLogin} (but that doesn't seem to work).

Martin,
JFBConnect doesn't have any way to allow admin authentication. It's something we've considered, but haven't investigated in depth and there's no simple line or 2 of code that would allow it. It would take a substantial reworking of JFBConnect, and it's not something we have plans for anytime soon.

We recommend using the standard Joomla login for the admin area as it adds less complexity to the process and, generally, you should have a raw super admin account without extra stuff attached to it anyways.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thanks for the response, It would be helpfull for us if you in the future adding a backend FB-login functionality. This is due to how many modules are designed regarding how many peaple that need (limited) access to the backen to fill the site with usefull information.

I do agree with you the importance of allways having a SA-login withoute any dependencys.

Martin,
Thanks for the feedback. We do have admin area login as an investigation point for a future release. It's low priority though, so I couldn't give you any timeline as to when (or if) it would be made available. Always good to know what our users are looking for though.

Thanks,
Alex
