Hello,

We use the Social Stream module in our website final.equalacademy.eu/.
It used to work fine but last few days it's not displayed in our frontend.
We have received the following email from Facebook <This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hi,

Is it valid? Do you know anything about this? What should we do?
Please, inform us about this situation.
Thank you in advance,

The email above looks valid, though strange with things like %ADDITIONAL_COMMENTS%. I'd respond to it and describe the different ways you integrate Facebook into your site as they ask. If you use login, explain why users need to authenticate on your site and if you pull in any additional profile data for them.

Try to describe any functionality you use within JFBConnect for integration.

I'm unsure if that's why the Social Stream isn't working, but that's a good place to start. We are constantly updating JFBConnect with new integrations and support for the latest APIs for each social network. The latest version is JFBConnect v9, which we'd recommend using for the best level of integration with both Joomla 3 and Joomla 4.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hello,
We really haven't understood what we have to do.
We've replied to them and asked them to tell us what we have to do.
If you have any ideas on how we can make Social Stream work again as it should, please inform us about.
Thank you,

Unfortunately, Facebook isn't going to be super responsive to requests for help. I would suggest answering their questions as best as you. I can't specifically state how to answer each one as every site integrates Facebook for different purposes. Here's some general thoughts though:

To complete our review of your app, we need the following information from you:
- Your app's use case for the integration, such as Facebook Login, Invite Friends, Like, Share buttons.

We integrate with Facebook login to allow users an easier registration and login experience on our site.
We do not use the Invite Friends feature.
We add Like and Share buttons to our content so our users can share our content with their friends.

- Detailed instructions on where we can find and verify the integration/permissions in your app.

After a user registers on our site, their profile information can be found at http.....

- If applicable, detailed instructions on how we can access your app.

You can login with Facebook at http:...

- If applicable, valid credentials for us to login to your app and test its functionality and use of any Facebook API integration. These credentials should be valid indefinitely to allow for future review of your app.

(for you---) Go to developers.facebook.com/apps, click into your app and then go to Roles -> Test Users. Click "Add" to create a new test user. Then, login to your site with Facebook using the email and password for the test user. Once that works, respond to Facebook with:

Please use the following test user credentials to login to our site. [Add the Test user credentials]

I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
