Hello,

I bought the component thinking that I can then post my website posts to Facebook and Instagram directly from the admin area in Joomla.
That's how I read it in your description. The description is already unclearly worded. Ijr shows a google icon. Where can I post to google something potent? The only place to do that is Google myBusiness. If that works, it would be great.

I miss the individual documentation of the channels.
What can I post on Amazon? What and where at Live? Live is Bing, or am I misunderstanding something?

Auto Posting:
Automatically post new Joomla ...  more to Facebook Pages & Groups or Twitter streams. Works with user or admin generated content to get news into your social feeds!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way. Nothing works at all!

I also don't want Facebook faces, comments or anything like that in my website. I just want my post to appear as a post on Facebook.

Did I misunderstand something in your description of the component?

Now I wanted to test this, but I already fail with the Facebook setting.
Facebook configuration in your component:
Needed:
Facebook App ID
Facebook Secret Key
Facebook Client Token

I get these when I create an APP in Facebook for Developers.
Facebook App ID & Facebook Secret Key

I don't see the Facebook Client Token in Facebook and I can't generate it. Unfortunately your instructions don't help because they are out of date. Facebook looks completely different. Your videos on www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/tutorials/ are outdated.

I need a component that I can set up. I am not a developer!

Something like this annoys me, lost time and lost money!

if this component works as I understand it, I would use it on 18 websites! Although the effort of configuration is very big.

Can you guys help?

Greetings from Bavaria
Rico

The auto-posting feature works only for Facebook Pages, Twitter Feeds or LinkedIn Company Profiles.

Every network is different and supports different features. JFBConnect supports authentication for almost all networks, like Amazon, Google, Microsoft Azure (formerly Windows Live), etc. However, JFBConnect does not support auto-posting content to those networks as most of those networks do not offer a method to allow that.

With that said, hopefully the below answers most of your other questions:
* Yes, the videos are out of date. Please use the setup guides for each social network, like the Facebook Setup Guide.
* Setting up auto-posting is a multi-step process. We have a full setup guide available , but the general steps are:
- Setup a social network and obtain the API/Secret Keys
- Enable the Open Graph - Content plugin, which monitors for new articles
- In the Channels area, setup a link to your Facebook Page, Twitter Stream or LinkedIn Company Page
Once the steps are complete, when a new article is published on the front-end or admin area, it will be auto-posted to the networks setup.

I hope that helps explain things, but if there's a specific area you're getting stuck or need more details on, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
