Hello,

I put in the correct open graph tag in the social meta section and nothing comes up.

Open Graph tags are cached by Facebook and other social networks. If you just added them, they may not show up immediately until your page is re-scanned.

You can use tools like the Facebook Debug Tool to refresh the cache and see what Facebook sees.

If the tags still don't look like they're working, please let us know:
a) How you added the tags and 1-2 tags you added
b) A page where you expect those tags to show

We'll gladly help investigate.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

Great I got the forum posting correctly on Facebook.

As for the other pages I am just now sure how to edit the already existing open graphs.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by how to edit already existing ones...

If the tags on the page are being generated correctly now, Facebook will pick them up and start using them over the next week or so. There's nothing you should need to do. Posts that have already been made to Facebook may or may not be updated automatically. Facebook's algorithm decides whether content can be updated retroactively based on how much attention it's received. They don't want bait and switch posts to change the content of something a user has Liked.

If the tags are not correct on the posts, let us know what's wrong or how you're looking to change them and we can gladly help provide guidance however we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Here is a link to the page where I believe the tabs were manually inputted but they show up in the front end of the website and cause issues for the page.

Thanks for helping.

The tags look correct, though they shouldn't obviously show on the front-end. There's a few things to check:
* Check if you have an "Admin Key" set in the JFBConnect -> Social -> Misc area. If so, you'll need to add that key to the tags, like:
{SCOpenGraph key=1234 title=blah blah}
That key is intended for sites with user generated content so that others can't set random tags on your site.
* Disable any optimization extensions (temporarily) and see if the tags start working. Some optimization extensions cache the page output before the tags are removed, and then used that cached page in the future.
* Check that the JFBCSystem plugin is enabled (it seems to be). If enabled, try re-ordering it so it is the first plugin or the last plugin. Sometimes, if other plugins execute before or after the JFBCSystem, it can cause issues.

I hope the suggestions above get you going, but if you need anything, please let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
