Hi
I need the user to accept the terms and conditions of my site, however I cannot do it. CB now uses a required field as Terms and Conditions field and if I set it all up to show required fields (which I have done), then JFBConnect does not show it. See munich.international-friends.net/

I have found a good workaround for the moment but would need to include links into the joomla override of COM_JFBCONNECT_THANKS_FOR_SIGNING_IN_REGISTER_ONLY

Any ideas?

When the normal registration mode is enabled, there's an option in the JFBConnect > Profiles > CB tab called 'CB Terms of Service'. When set to 'Show', JFBConnect should respect the terms and conditions setting. However, looking at your site, it appears that you have Automatic Registration enabled. You won't get to the mini-registration field that shows the required fields / terms / etc unless you switch Automatic Registration off.

Hi,
tried that and it didnt work. You already had an account on Munich website therefore it did automatic login. Please have a look at this site (and I have set JFBConnect > Profiles > CB tab called 'CB Terms of Service'). Please try this page (where you do not have an account yet): berlin.international-friends.net/

CB has changed the way it uses the Terms and Conditions to a purely field based Terms and Conditions.

Could you let me know which version of CB that you're using so that I can investigate this further and try to reproduce this on my test site?

I am unable to reproduce this issue on my test site. With the latest versions of JFBConnect 7.1.1 and CB 2.0.15+build.2016.12.02.00.46.33.ef62bd55e, I created a required Terms and Conditions field. It shows properly on my JFBConnect login / register view and the registration doesn't proceed until it is checked, as expected.

Could you provide backend access to berlin.international-friends.net/ so that I can see how the fields in CB and the JFBConnect > Profiles > CB area is configured to see what's different from your site versus mine?
