i trying to set this up i was able to register a new user but when i try to login i get this ? with facebook

URL Blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth Login are on and add all your app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URIs.

thanks i will take a look and make sure the urls are correct

I was able to fix that. now open graph tutorials are kinda outdated. and i tried to follow it the best i can. But i am not getting examples like shown in the video on facebook.

I"m in the same boat with the open graph function. I kind of get the Joomla side but the Facebook side is way different.
Trying to get a Connect to work on open graph with Jom Social is even more confusing. You show examples of the 3 items and how to set up on the Joomla side but, don't show what you need to do on the Facebook Developer side.


PLease Walk us through this step by step and make it much easier to understand and use updated screen shots.

i got the button and when i click it i put text in submit. and nothing happens. nothing shows up in activity backend.

it has to be with some other settings. because even facebook comment box when i make comment and click share to facebook it never does.


i shared image of developers as well how it does not load anything in the other guys thread


And you mention module ? Do you mean {JFBCAction id=1 text=Post To Your Timeline} ?

i added debugging and for the button i have share.. with the settings i posted above. i get the blue box with Error: Action is not associated to the object type of this page.


This is the problems i am getting so far

1. facebook comments - can post comments with facebook user but if i click to also add to facebook. comment shows up on website but nothing goes to timeline of facebook profile.

2. like buttons it will show the user liked but it does not show in the likes on facebook.

3. what is the best way to set up a default image. to represent the site so like a default image that opengraph would pick when there is not a dedicated image such as first image in k2
