Strange. Not sure why Safari wouldn't work, but hopefully you got things setup now.I tried Firefox and found it did not have the same issue. The user select function appears to be working on that browser. Was using Safari before.
All of our features are called out in our documentation www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/Can you point me to a "standard" installation of your C/M/P package - explaining what is what and how it is controlled?
First, it sounds like Safari is automatically blocking some of our Javascript. I'm not sure if that's a security setting or what, but that's not common. I'd recommend using Firefox until you determine the Safari setting that's causing those issues. Both have the floating parameters, though I can't get anything to happen on Safari. On Firefox, I see a floating set of boxes with: Social Meta, Preview and Create Post - but on the left hand side rather than the right hand side (this despite setting the left right float parameter to 3001).
No. This is an issue with loading the proper Javascript into your browser. The PHP version doesn't affect this.1. I'm running PHP 5.3 temporarily as I update my ancient Joomla 1.5 sites. Could this play a part in any of this?
That module has documentation for each of the parameters that should explain things. The most common issue that most users run into is that they set it to 'Float' but don't assign it to a module position or menu item. Even though it's meant to float, you need to put it in a module position that would display on the page and set a menu item (or 'All') that it should show on.2. JFBCSocialShare - I can't get this to show up at all, on any browser. Can you give me a checklist of how this should be set up?
