Hi,
I have a problem with setting user registration.

I use EasySocial and JFBConnect.

After click on the "Google" button, user should get an email with an activation link.
The administrator should only get information on new registration.

I set:
- EasySocial - Profile Types - Registration - Registrations OAuth - Registration type - Require user activation
- Joomla Global Configuration - New User Account Activation - Self
- JFBConnect - Skip Joomla User Activation - No

Unfortunately,
After registration by the "Google button", user gets email information, that the administrator must accept the account.
Administrator gest email: please, accept new user.
How can I change this.
Please help.

Bartosz,
JFBConnect doesn't recognize the OAuth Registrations setting within EasySocial. That's why we have our own "Skip Joomla Activation" setting in JFBConnect. When we register a user, we use the standard rules applied to all users.

Unfortunately, we don't currently have a way to tweak the activation settings over what you've configured already. We can only skip activation altogether. I'd recommend either changing the regular user registration options or skipping activation altogether. Both Facebook and Google perform email validation on users when accounts are created. That's one of the large benefits of using social integration, you don't need to re-verify your user's email addresses and they can sign into your site immediately without the additional hassle of activation.

I've added it to our investigation list to determine how we could work with the Oauth Registrations setting in EasySocial, but I don't know when we'd implement integration with that setting.

I hope that helps explain further,
Alex
