Hey guys,

I cannot do single signon anymore. I have no idea why... I used to be able to do it and it worked perfectly but now it doesnt work anymore... I have left the configurations as they were, as they used to work...

What am I doing wrong?

At the above link, I was able to just create a new user with my Facebook credentials (username: sourcecoast). After logging out, I was able to log in properly again.

Could you describe more in detail what problems you're having?
* Any error messages that may be displayed
* The specific URL you're on, if not the above link
* Which browser are you using? Can you try a different one? I tried with Chrome.

Hey Melissa,

Yes, you can sign on because you have already approved the facebook app. Have you got a screenshot of a correctly set-up facebook app?

I think that this is my main problem.

I am using the URL you used aswell, howver am using a fresh account that has not approved the facebook app.

EDIT: It now works to connect the website to facebook app. I have problems though with the single sign on. I am still getting that the user should input their email address instead of getting this email address directly from FB.

I have set the stuff under Register as "Hide" to all of them.

This could be a problem depending on the user's privacy settings in Facebook. Could you verify that you're trying to log into the site with a user that has the email address set as public in Facebook? Please try with multiple Facebook accounts to see if there is any difference. Additionally, I do not recall if my email was populated when I created my user. If you want to delete my 'sourcecoast' account, I can check the behavior again.

Also, please verify that you do not have a Joomla user already existing on your site with that email address. If you do have one and our 'Automatically Link Users by Email' setting is set to No, you'd see the behavior you're describing.

Whoops yeah the facebook thing I realised it yesterday and solved it.

I have used an email address in the facebook profile that a user already had in the website.

I will test again. Until I have news on Monday, I will rest my case...

PS: I have deleted your user account and it would be superb if you could try it again...

Sounds good. Let us know if you find any problems.

Do you have automatic registration enabled? It seems as if that was the case and the user was created automatically, since I was not brought to the login/register view. However, I did receive the email that a new user was created, so the email address was brought in properly.
