Hi,

I've upgraded to the lastest version of jfbconnect. LinkedIn authentication works! Sharing pages through channels to LinkedIn pages works. But in Joomla and K2 articles I get an error message: We’re sorry. Something unexpected happened and your request could not be completed. Please close this window and try again.
File Attachment:

When I put in the inshare-button ( {JlinkedShare} ) in a K2 article, it works! But the inshare-button in the social media bar doesn't, even in the same article???

Thanks! Walter

Can you put the JLinkedShare easy-tag in an article again and give me the URL for that page? I'd like to see if there's a difference in the the HTML for the two buttons, specifically the url value.

Hi Melissa, thanks for your reply.

Yes, sure: www.hetgilde.net/nieuws-info/2013-12-19-...-reikt-zzp-prijs-uit

It's a K2 article, but the same behaviour on Joomla articles.

In 6.3, we added a change to encode the URLs for LinkedIn in the content plugin. The Easy-tag that you put in the article does not appear to use an encoded URL. Could you try reverting to our previous code?

In /libraries/sourcecoast/utilities.php around line 82 replace
$extraButtonText .= '{JLinkedShare href=' . urlencode($url) . " layout=" . $dataCount . $renderKeyString . '}';
with
$extraButtonText .= '{JLinkedShare href=' . $url . " layout=" . $dataCount . $renderKeyString . '}';

Does this have any effect?

Thanks for letting me know. Looks like our last change fixed some cases/broke others. I'll make an issue in our tracker to re-address the encoding for our next release.

Thanks :)

Let us know if you run into any other problems. Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a review for JFBConnect on the Joomla Extensions Directory. While it's not required, it would be appreciated. extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...l-display/jfbconnect
