Could you verify that you are running the latest version of JFBConnect 6.2.4? The newest release fixes numerous bugs with the channel creation/setup. Also, if you happened to have created the channel in the JFBConnect backend with 6.2.3 or earlier and you're not getting the prompts, you should delete the channel and create a new one.
With that being said, there are several different reasons why it is not prompting you for permissions. Can you go to our page

Let me know the results after performing these steps, and if you're still having problems, please attach a screenshot of your channel configuration in the backend.
