Topic-icon Unable to get Social Stream to work - User Permissions

Greetings

I am having issues getting my FB social stream to work. I have set it up as specified in the documentation, however when I try to get my account to login with Facebook to accept the permissions, I do not get any prompts, nor does it seem to activate whatever needs to be activated to get the stream to work.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Could you verify that you are running the latest version of JFBConnect 6.2.4? The newest release fixes numerous bugs with the channel creation/setup. Also, if you happened to have created the channel in the JFBConnect backend with 6.2.3 or earlier and you're not getting the prompts, you should delete the channel and create a new one.

With that being said, there are several different reasons why it is not prompting you for permissions. Can you go to our page www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/post...reate-social-channel and follow each of the steps in the Troubleshooting section at the very bottom of the page?

Let me know the results after performing these steps, and if you're still having problems, please attach a screenshot of your channel configuration in the backend.
