Query regarding AVATARs after upgrade to 6.1.1

This is correct behavior. Unfortunately, it's a change we had to make. With the changes for Facebook's Graph API v2, and things other social networks are doing, the avatar and profile URLs for user accounts are no longer guessable just from their user ID.

Before, we used to just need their user ID, which JFBConnect always stored, and we could load their avatar and link to their profile in the admin area. With 6.1.1, we updated the behavior to store the user's profile link and avatar link so that we always had a working link available.

In versions prior to 6.1.1, the LinkedIn, Github, Google+ avatars would never show. Any Facebook apps that already use API v2 weren't showing the avatars either. v2 will be forced upon all users early next year, so this was us getting a little bit of a jump on that.

Bottom line: Nothing broke.. avatars and links just won't be available until users re-authenticate on your site.

Oh heck no! That would be a disaster. This change *only* affects the User Map area and the 'new' way that we're loading the user's image and profile link in that view.

Your end users should see absolutely no change. As time goes on, and more users (re)authenticate, the User Map will start being fully filled out, including avatars and links from some of those social networks previously mentioned that we couldn't fetch the avatars from before.

Glad to help explain. I hope the 6.1.1 upgrade went well. There were a bunch of minor improvements over 6.1.0, but if you already had that installed, it should only be an improvement.
