Check with them if there is a shared SSL site you can use for your domain. If so, then what you can do is create another Facebook Application and point the Page Tab to a specific page on the secure domain. That can be a specific article on your site with your newsletter signup. You will *not* be able to take advantage of some specific JFBConnect features like a custom Page Tab canvas or even Facebook authentication, since the domain won't be right.. but you can have links to your 'real' page on the newsletter signup page.
A redirect from the SSL Page Tab home page may work, but it's best if your whole site is loaded through SSL when in a Page Tab to ensure it continues to work in case Facebook makes changes to their requirements.I only need a redirect page, so then we can manage everything in my site, what do you think about it?
A Facebook Application is what you need to create a tab in a Fan Page. You create the Application and then point the Page Tab URL to your site. There are plenty of other apps that you can also add to your page that may do what you want as well. JFBConnect is just one way to integration into your Facebook Page, but there are others.By the way, are we sure there is not a facebook app that already allow to create tabs in fan pages? I saw this app HTML static iFrame tab. Maybe it cannot became the landing page (or maybe yes) but it seems it would work to create a call to action on the web site. What do you think?
