I have JFB Connect activated and supplied with API keys etc for Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I have Kunena enabled, and JFBConnect's Social Profiles - Kunena plugin enabled.

In JFBConnect User Map, FB avatars are showing but Google+ avatars are not. In Kunena, Google+ avatars are showing but FB avatars are not.

Sample page: gmat-zone.com/forum/problem-solving/2-quant1exercise-pp39-40
Kay is connected via FB, Viv is connected via Google+

:O

The Usermap area of JFBConnect is loading the avatars directly from the social networks. It is not showing them from Kunena or any other 'local' place from your site. The Google+ avatars will not show at all in the Usermap area due to how a user's avatar has to be loaded. We need to user their authentication token and make some extra requests, which could make the page take an extra long time to load.

So, the real issue appears to be why the avatar isn't loading in Kunena. The only time the avatar is imported into Kunena is during registration or during login, if the "Always Import Profile" setting is enabled in the JFBConnect -> Profiles area. If Kay initially registered but didn't have an avatar in Facebook, then no avatar would be in Kunena. If they later added an avatar to Facebook, it would only be imported to Kunena if they login to your site again and you have the Profiles area set to always import the profile.

Hopefully that helps explain. If not, can you let me know what version of JFBConnect, Joomla and Kunena you are using?

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the explanation. I think I understand now. If I have a different experience once more people activate on the forum, I'll revive this thread, but for now we can consider it closed.
