Parse Errors in CSS was created by robern
I've installed the JFB Connect plugin but am getting over seven hundred parse errors according to the W3C CCS validator tool - mainly in the sourcecoast CSS - just wondering if this is usual?

Cheers

Rob,
I've never used that validator before for CSS. There are issues coming from just about every CSS file on your site. The sourcecoast ones are just at the top. Others large sections of errors come from system.css, general.css, k2.css, template.css and many, many more.

I'm honestly not sure what all the errors mean, but at least a few that I looked at about parsing don't seem accurate. Additionally, browsers, which are what interpret the CSS, don't seem to be throwing any errors when I view the page looking at the developer console.

I ran a few different sites through that tool, some that use JFBConnect and a few 'popular' sites and they all came back with many thousands of messages. Not sure what that tool is really helping to fix, but I can't imagine its possible to fix them all.

Can you let me know if you are seeing any functional errors or issues on your site with display issues?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex
Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for the time taken to respond back to you. The website seems to run well, i.e. no problems connecting with Facebook etc. I didn't think to check it against popular sites - but if we're all getting them then I guess it's not so much of an issue. I was running it mainly for SEO more than anything.
Thanks for checking and getting back to me.
Cheers
Rob

Rob,
No problem for the help. We've had some validation issues in the past that were worth fixing, so it never hurts to point things out. Either way, I'm glad things are going well for you.

If you have any other questions or general feedback about our products or support, just let me know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
