Hi Alex and staff,

I'm having trouble getting the actual Facebook feed to display correctly on the footer of my clients website: www.fadefinder.com.
I would like to get their business page activity feed to display on the footer of each page, even if someone isn't logged in, so we can gain some traction to their page.
The clients business page is: www.facebook.com/fadefinder?ref=hl

I'm not sure if it is better to use JFBCFeed or SC Social Widget to make this happen, but the client is definitely getting restless regarding having their feed appear correctly on the website. I'm not sure if this isn't working correctly because JFBConnect isn't setup correctly, or if I need to change something in my app page on Facebook. My Autotune check is showing that everything is ok, so I'm not sure what I need to adjust. If you need login credentials to the site, please send me an email message.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ray

JFBCFeed isn't what you're looking for. Try the SCSocialWidget configured as Facebook -> Like Box. Then, add that FB Page URL as the URL and configure the other settings as you see fit. That should get you going on what you're looking for.

I hope that helps get you going, but if not, or you have any questions, just let me know!

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you Alex, I was wondering if that was the right module for what I was looking for, but I wasn't selecting the correct option when testing.

Appreciate the response.

Thank you,

No problem for the help, it's what we're here for. We realize there are a ton of social features available in that module and are working on ways to make it clearer. Previously, we had a separate module for each widget, which was equally confusing... in a different way :)

Of course, if you run into other issues, have any general questions, or other feedback on JFBConnect, just let me know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
