Hello. I have Community Builder running on my site. The registration component in the SClogin module is set to Community Builder. The registration settings in component -> JFBC are set on JFBC --- there is not a drop down to select CB. The Social Profile for CB is enabled. Profile integration has a green check. However, the registration does not work and the captcha will not display. Kindly request advise if there is an additional configuration I need to perform or if there is something that I do not have set-up correctly.

The picture you show above is of the Community Builder registration process. That is not shown during a normal JFBConnect registration (we show our own registration screen).

The screen you show should only happen if a user clicks the "Register" button in the SCLogin module and is *not* logging in through a social network. In that case, we are simply redirecting the user to the CB registration flow. If that's not working how you want it to, that's a problem with CB itself.. not JFBConnect. You should be able to try the same by clicking the Register button in the CB Login module and my guess is that you'll have the same results.

I hope that helps explain, but if you still think the issue is related to JFBConnect, just let us know a bit more about why you think that and we'll help investigate however we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex:

Thank you for the reply. The issue was *not* related to JFBC. CB requires GD and Free Type to be enabled in PHP. GD was enabled, but free type was not. In order to install free type I had to recompile Apache via Easy Apache in order to enable it. There may be another way to enable Free Type...but EA is the only way that I'm aware of.

Warm regards,

Scott

I was pretty sure that it wasn't related to JFBConnect, but happy to hear that confirmed. Also glad you go the issue resolve altogether!

Should you need anything else from us, as always, just let me know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
