The "Social" configuration area is where you can configure JFBConnect to automatically add the social buttons above/below Joomla or K2 articles. To use that functionality, configure things how you want there and make sure you have the JFBCContent plugin enabled.
We don't have EasyBlog integration for doing the same thing yet, but support for adding the social buttons to it, and other extensions, is planned for upcoming releases.
Beyond that, the JFBCSocialButtons module can be used to add the buttons to other content either in fixed module location or 'floating' at one of the browser edges.
