Topic-icon How to get a social module in specific articles ?

Hello Alex,

i'm sorry i'm kind of lost in the doc, for something quite simple.

To begin with JFBConnect, i'd like to set a social module below or above some specific articles.

I've seen your plugins and a module, but is there a way easier than choosing "menu items" to choose where the JFBC module should appear (above, below), in what articles (com_content, com_easyblog...) ?

thanks for your help,
Adrien

The "Social" configuration area is where you can configure JFBConnect to automatically add the social buttons above/below Joomla or K2 articles. To use that functionality, configure things how you want there and make sure you have the JFBCContent plugin enabled.

We don't have EasyBlog integration for doing the same thing yet, but support for adding the social buttons to it, and other extensions, is planned for upcoming releases.

Beyond that, the JFBCSocialButtons module can be used to add the buttons to other content either in fixed module location or 'floating' at one of the browser edges.

I hope that helps explain, but if not, or you still have questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

hi Alex,

thx for your reply, I wanted to add manually the social buttons, and i found my way with "module anywhere" to insert in both com_content and com_easyblog.

there's just a quite big bottom margin under the module, but it is not that important.

thanks !

Glad to hear you got something going that works for you. If you need assistance removing the extra bottom margin, we'll gladly help. It's likely just a minor bit of CSS you'd need to add to your template. If you'd like the help, please let us know a URL where we can see the issue and we'll look into it further.
