I created an Open Graph Action for Sharing a k2 Item. On the item page I added the button tags and the button is showing. However when I click on it redirects me to the users profile page within jomsocial like if it is trying to log me in again in IE. In Firefox it opens the dialogue box but then I get an error in the pop up box that comes out at the bottom saying"

Error: Action is not associated to the object type of this page.

Can you post (or Private Message) me a page to test from?

For the "Action not associated" error, please check your Action configuration in the JFBConnect -> Open Graph area. At the bottom of the action editor area, ensure that the correct objects are selected for that action to work on it.

In IE (or any browser) if the user isn't currently logged into your site using JFBConnect/Facebook, we will try to authenticate them using Facebook when they click the action button. If you have the New User or Returning User redirection setup to bring them to a new page, they will be redirected. We're planning to 'fix' that problem by allowing custom redirections in certain cases.. in that case, the user would always be left on the same page. Right now though, you may want to leave your redirects set to "Same Page", at least for "Returning User Redirection".

I hope that helps,
Alex

Ahhh.. I think I see the bug. You have the "Show 'Login Credentials' in popup" set to 'No'. In that case, our redirections to fetch and check the proper scope isn't working properly as it's actually taking you to Facebook.com to login.

Can you try switching that setting to "Yes", for now, and see if that gets you going?

We'll have to determine the best way to implement both of those features.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey alex,

I am getting the popup for that page however I am stil getting this error:

Error: Action is not associated to the object type of this page.

I looked at this error: www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...d-to-the-object-type

Since I am also getting this error in my other site and printing out the object variable is giving me my Site url.

I am PM you the other site I am getting this same error on.
