Since upgrading to the most recent version last week; all of my google+ counts on blog layout pages have reset to zero. However, on the articles themselves they remain unchanged; it appears that the social counts for google+ are tie to the page url instead of the actual article. (The other social buttons have seemed to retain their count).

For instance on this page: www.jcblog.net/colossians the google+ count is 2 for ALL articles on the page. But if you click through to an article ( www.jcblog.net/colossians/2/1-3-encouraged-and-united-in-love ); you will see that the google+ count is +7 So the count says +2 on the blog layout page and +7 on the article page...

Can you advise how I fix this so the blog layout count displays the actual article count?
Thank you!

We're looking into this. I'm not sure why the count is incorrect on your page, in all honesty. If you look at the HTML source on the page, each g:plusone tag is properly specifying a data-href parameter which points to the actual article. That hasn't changed since the last release and should work.

We're trying to recreate on a local system as well to see if we can narrow down what's going wrong.

Thanks for your patience,
Alex

Yes, actually. We had a different report earlier today about issues with the G+ button and tracked down the cause to something in our code. It's possible the same issue is affecting you, although in a different way.

Please take a moment to check out this Google+ debug post and see if the solution there gets you fixed up.

The change there will be in the next release, and we'd love to have your input on if it fixes your issue ahead of time.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry just saw this; I need to check my settings, I wasn't getting notified when you replied, so I apologize for the delay. I went a head and updated the component and it fixed my issue. Thank you SO much for taking care of this for me. Have a great day!
