Hi,

I've upgraded to JFB 6.0.1 and created the LinkedIn app for login. But when I activate LinkedIn (API key & Secret key), the LinkedIn login button appears, but in my articles and K2 blog the LinkedIn button for sharing disappears. When I remove the keys, the in-share buttons appear again ???

Can you help me out with this?

Thanks!

Walter

Please make sure you followed the full LinkedIn application for Joomla setup guide. Specifically, step 3-2-4 for configuring your Javascript API Domain. Once that's done properly, the share button should work.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your reply. The app is setup properly and works fine (LinkedIn registration and login). But in my articles and K2 articles the "inshare" button disappears. When I remove both keys in the configuration the "inshare" buttons appear again in the articles and K2 articles. Can't figure out why ???

Thanks for your help.

Walter

Hi Alex,

I checked again, but there's no Javascript API domain setup. I've attached a screenshot.

Glad you found the issue. I just checked and it does seem like they re-ordered some of the fields a little bit since we took that picture in the documentation. We'll try to update that shortly.

Should you have any other questions or issues, just let us know. We'd love to have your feedback for any improvements to our extensions or documentation that you may have.

Thanks,
Alex
