Hi ,

I'm using my facebook app as a widget. The problem i have is that the widget will be inside an iframe on another site. everything works fine until you click on the login(facebook) button. this opens another window which is blocked due to iframe securities etc. plus i would prefer a direct login form lets say, as it is cleaner and better suited for this instance. Does jfbconnect support server side authentication of this kind (currently i understand jfbconnect uses javascript lib for login dialog).

Some php code examples would be great. Also would this be possible for twitter? i have minimal experience with thier API's etc.

Many thanks in advanced

Phil,
JFBConnect added server side authentication options for Facebook in the v5.2.2 release. In the Configuration -> Parameters area, disable the "Show 'Login Credentials' in popup" setting. Frankly, the setting names in there are a bit confusing for the popup options.. but disable that, and you'll be enabling server side auth for Facebook.

Both Twitter and Google+ already use server side auth. We're planning to add popup options for those networks at a later date.

I hope that helps, but if not, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex
