Hello team,

I have had a request from a client for a Facebook Share feature and although I told her it had been deprecated I just found this post from 7/11/2013 that looks like FB is bringing back the Share function; developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2013/1...e-and-share-buttons/

Do you plan to bring it back into JFB Connect as well? Can you please clarify what exactely is the deal with the Share function and suggest a workaround in the meantime? Sorry for the vague request but I'm not getting what's FB up to....

JFBConnect v5.2.1 already supports and describes the new Share button properly. Basically, the "Send" button, which we've supported for a long time, is being replaced by the 'new' Share button. We've updated the text inside the extension already. Now, if you configure the JFBCLike module or the Social features (for automatically adding the social buttons to content), the share button *should* display. The share is being rolled out to users over time, so some users may still see the Send button during the rollout.
