Hi Alex,

I'm a little stuck, I've searched the forums, and found similar problems, but am unable to find a solution. I am able to login with my FB credentials, but no one else can. The FB login box appears, then quickly disappears. Please assist. My website is www.cuesportfever.com. Any other details you require can be sent via PM. Thanks.

I just tried to register on your site using Facebook. I was properly brought to the JFBConnect registration page and my first name was shown. So, connections with Facebook do seem to be working.

However, when I tried to register, I was redirected to the Joomla registration page with the message "The words you typed did not match the ones displayed. Please try again." It sounds like you have Captcha enabled, but it's not properly displaying on our registration form. Can you try disabling Captcha in the User Manager -> Options area, temporarily, and see if that helps with registrations? Alternatively, you can enable the Automatic Registration process in JFBConnect so the user doesn't have to fill out any forms.

Finally, you look to be on a pretty old version of JFBConnect (v4.2). JFBConnect v4.3 was released late last year and v5.0.1 is the latest. I'd highly recommend upgrading as it's possible you're also running into a bug that's already been fixed.

Thanks Alex. I cant upgrade from the backend, keeps throwing an ftp error at me, no matter how i try to to change them in the global config. I also cant seem to download it from this site, even though i have an active subscription. I just get the option to buy? I have gone through every link, and still get the option to purchase rather than download any possible upgrade..

Not sure about the FTP issue. I'd skip that for now and focus on downloading it from the site.

Your subscription is definitely active and you should be able to get the files. If you go to the "My Downloads" link in the "My Account" menu above, what do you see? It should show all the files available for you to download. There may be some text mentioning logging in to see the latest, but that text will always show. The files should still be underneath that area.

If that doesn't help, try logging out and logging in again or using another browser to test. We haven't heard of download issues lately, but will gladly investigate more once we have some more information about what you're seeing.
