I just tried to go to one of the pages in the Recommendations bar that didn't have an image. The URL was:
www.ekenmagasin.se/blogg/item/2159-skrytpellen-signar-ut
In the HTML of that page, there are the tags below:
<meta property="fb:admins" content="0"/>
<meta property="og:image" content=""/>
That last tag is specifically setting the image to 'nothing'. Those tags are not from JFBConnect. You'll need to figure out what extension or plugin is setting the image and admins Open Graph tags to invalid values and that will likely help your problem.
For K2 articles, you should install and enable the Open Graph - K2 plugin that comes with JFBConnect. That will properly detect and insert the first image as the Open Graph tag for your page. Whatever you're using now is not working and is causing you problems.
