joomla 2.58
k2 2.63
on home page I have 10 to 15 K2 items/articles.
I am wanting to use plugin so each item like only post that items like not the total page.
Also when I add a new k2 item it does not post to facebook.
Any suggestions?

Rick,
To add the Like button automatically to your K2 content, you simply need to enable the JFBConnect - Content plugin. Then, you can configure how the Like button is added to each K2 item in the Social configuration area of JFBConnect. There are separate options for blog views and article views, so you can customize the look however you want. Each button will always be for the actual article, not for the current page (if in a blog view).

As for posting to Facebook when a new K2 item is created, JFBConnect doesn't currently support that. We recommend posting it by going to your page and creating a good status update intro and doing it that way. It's much more personal and targeted to your Facebook audience over a generic/automated post with just the first sentence of the item.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Thanks Alex I added this in the k2 item/article weezersfurnitureboutique.com/index.php?o...em&layout=item&id=16
nothing appears but a blank line.
In the JFBC overview it has this JFBCLike Not Installed 4.3.0 This extension does not appear to be installed.
I have all JFBC items enabled but do not see a download for the Like. I did unzip the main download first but unless I am missing I can't find that plugin.

The Like button is in the main unzip file in the modules directory. However, you only need to install that if you're want to use the Like button in a module. If you want to use the Content Plugin to automatically add the like or comment widget to articles, you don't need to install the Like or Comments module.

On the page you linked too, I actually see the Like button and comment box at the top of the article. At the bottom of the article, I see another Like button which is coming from K2 itself. I'd recommend disabling that button and configuring JFBConnect (in the Social area) to show the button at top and bottom, if that's what you want.

Finally, in the Configuration -> Misc tab, there is a setting in the "Experimental" area like "Strip tags from head". Please enable that as it will fix the issue of showing {JFBCLike ...} at the top of your page.

Let me know if you're still having issues, but again, from what I see, you've got things going; maybe just need to change some of your configuration settings to change the positions of things more.

Thanks,
Alex
